Website and Social Media

The City of Farmington provides the city with online communications, including its website, social media accounts, E-Notification subscription service, and other online services.

Government Cable Channel 180

Farmington, Apple Valley, and Rosemount residents who subscribe to Charter cable television have access to channel 180. Subscribers can watch Farmington City Council meetings and Planning Commission meetings as live or taped broadcasts; events and notices also are shown on government channel 180.

Press Releases - Public Notices

Press Releases

Releases are prepared for local media and other interested organizations. Topics for releases include events, programs, and other items of interest to residents. Press releases are also published on the city's website.

Public Notices

The city's legal notices are published in it's official newspaper, the Dakota Country Tribune. As a courtesy, legal and public notices are posted on the city's website. Public notices include advertisement for bids, special meeting notices, and ordinance changes.
