Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Day Saturday, September 9
New – Paper Shredding!
On September 9, 2017 the Farmington City Council and the Dakota County Board of Commissioners are offering Dakota County residents a Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Day in Farmington. This drop-off day provides all Dakota County residents the opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted paints, solvents, household chemicals, fluorescent light bulbs, used oil, oil filters, automotive batteries, and household electronics. Protect yourself against identity theft and recycle too! Bring your confidential documents for shredding to mobile unit on-site.
There will be a $10 charge per television and computer monitor; all other acceptable items will be collected for free. The drop-off is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Farmington Maintenance Facility, 19650 Municipal Drive. Proof of Dakota County residency will be required.
