Curbside Cleanup Days Start April 21 - Mattresses not collected
Published on Apr 5, 2018 07:09
Curbside Cleanup Days provide an opportunity for city of Farmington residents to dispose of large, bulky items that don’t fit in their garbage cart. NEW in 2018, due to the State of Minnesota's processing requirements, the city will NO longer be collecting mattresses and box springs during Curbside Cleanup Days.
Who can participate?
City of Farmington residential customers (included in your quarterly garbage fee). Curbside Cleanup is a benefit for Farmington residents. Please don't allow people from outside the city to drop their items off at your home. Garbage coming in from outside of Farmington increases the cost of the program for you.
Who cannot participate?
- People who have a Farmington mailing address but live in Lakeville, Empire, Eureka, or Castle Rock or anyone else who doesn’t live within the city limits of Farmington
- City of Farmington commercial customers
What you can dispose of:
- Up to two appliances per household
- Large, bulky items such as furniture
Please do not place bags, boxes, or piles of trash at the curb for Cleanup Days as piles of miscellaneous trash will NOT be picked up. Return trips for extra garbage in your cart can be scheduled any time throughout the year (651-280-6905). For details, visit http://bit.ly/2Cc1AqV.
