Visit Us at the EXPO!

The EXPO is a unique opportunity for community business owners, service providers, and organizations located within the boundaries of the Farmington school district, to connect with Farmington residents.

City of Farmington staff will be there, excited to visit with the community at the Farmington Community EXPO on Saturday, January 28 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Farmington High School. Here are a few highlights:

  • Stop by the Public Safety corner (just to the right of the entrance to the EXPO) for the K-9 Unit meet and greet from 9:00 to 10:50 a.m., check out the Fire Department’s new thermal imaging cameras, AED’s, and RESQ CPR Pumps, and find out how you can become a firefighter. Watch the K-9 demonstration at 11:00 a.m. in the auxiliary gym.
  • Learn how to get the latest information about city programs and news online through the new mobile app and E-Notifications.
  • Parks & Recreation will be on hand to talk with people and take comments about the Prairie Pines Park master plan. Learn about recreation program offerings too.
  • The Rambling River Center’s Dulcimer Club will be performing and the Model Railroad Club will show off a train display. Learn about Rambling River Center memberships and rental opportunities.
  • A Dakota County Master Recycler/Composter will have a vermiculture exhibit (composting with worms indoors).Explore ways to reduce your waste and take care of natural resources right here in Farmington.
